Pan Fried Salmon with Avocado Dipping Sauce

We love salmon at our house. This is our go to salmon recipe. Simple, easy, and delicious!

Pan Fried Salmon with Avocado Dipping Sauce

2 Avocados- peeled, pitted, and diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp yogurt or sour cream
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
2 lbs salmon
2 tsp dill
2 tsp lemon pepper
salt to taste

Preheat frying pan with about 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat. In a medium bowl mash up avocados, garlic, yogurt, and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper, and set aside. Rub salmon with dill, lemon pepper, and salt. Place in frying pan and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side.

* we also do this recipe with blackening seasoning, which is also very good.

  1. Yay! i'm glad you posted this recipe. I have 2 lbs of salmon sitting in my fridge atm and I wasn't sure how I wanted to cook it. Thanks for the suggestion! as much as my family loves avocados, i'm sure this will be a hit.
