Stuffed Cheese Burger

I am going to be boring, probably for the next few months. Being pregnant means I don't cook a whole lot, and when I do, I rarely take pictures. Hopefully the blog will pick back up after the baby comes!

I love this hamburger recipe. Regular hamburgers are just fine, but it is fun to mix it up and make something new!

Stuffed Cheeseburger

1 lb ground chuck or ground round (you really can just use ground beef too)
1 tbsp grated onion
1 tsp ketchup
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp dried thyme
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
blue cheese

Lightly toss the meat in a bowl with the onion, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Form 4 large patties, about 3 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches thick. To stuff, remove some meat from the top half of each patty and place blue cheese in the center. Replace the meat and flatten slightly. Refrigerate covered for 15 to 20 minutes. Cook as desired.
