Restaurant Review: Thanksgiving Point Deli and Bakery

Thanksgiving Point Deli and Bakery
3003 N Thanksgiving Way
Lehi, UT 84043

About a week ago my family and I ate lunch at the Thanksgiving Point Deli and Bakery. The food was delicious (especially the clam chowder and their french fries), though a little expensive. While we were there we noticed their dessert case. Everything in it looked delicious. My husband and I really wanted to get something, but were already feeling guilty about spending too much money just on lunch. So, the following Tuesday evening, we found ourselves back at Thanksgiving Point and my husband decided to stop in and get some desserts before we went home.

This is what he came home with. And the best part? Everything was only 1.50 each. It was all very good, but not quite as good as Eliane’s French Bakery. We had a peanut butter cup brownie, an apple tart of some kind, a chocolate mousse thing, and tiramisu. Our favorite by far was the chocolate mousse, and my next favorite was the peanut butter cup brownie. The mouse was rich and dark, and the strawberry was even dipped in dark chocolate! The tiramisu was a little disappointing, it did not have a lot of flavor, and the cocoa on the top was a little intense.

This will be a place we will visit again soon, especially when we want a fun cheap dessert.

  1. Mmmm, Elaine's, I love that place! I finally got around to going last week and I'm hooked! I got some strawberry cake a slice of chocolate mousse cake and one of those chocolate cigars...I'm drooling just thinking about it.
